The Snow Day

The beginning of our adventure

Where's the road gone?

Just call me David Attenborough

The BEST snowman ever, sadly we didn't make it

Happy Fridays guys! I've had a super busy week at work after I missed a day due to the darn snow so I'm more than pleased to be sat relaxing in my lovely lounge star print bottoms (which can be seen here if you're feeling nosy) waiting for the boy to get back from the gym so we can have a cheeky fish & chip supper. As my last post was incredibly text heavy I thought I better bring you pictures galore to make sure all is right in the blogging world - I just hope you're not all bored of seeing pictures of the snow!

If you hadn't already guessed these pictures were taken on the snow day - neither the boy or I made it work as we couldn't get our cars off the drive, let alone onto the treacherous roads. A snow day is my idea of heaven as it means I can catch up on all my magazines and my favourite blogs while keeping warm and toasty indoors, the boy on the other hand can't sit still for two minutes and loves nothing more than being outdoors. After much metaphorical arm twisting I was persuaded to take my pooch Nelson on a long walk down to the park and back - after getting seriously togged up (I'm looking at you unflattering parka) we were on our way. In all honesty I do really enjoy the great outdoors, once I'm forced outside that is! All in all the boy and I had a fun day, not forgetting to take snaps along the way...have you seen that snowman?

I'd like to take this opportunity to say a huge hello to all my new subscribers, I can't believe I'm reached my first milestone of 50 GFC followers and as I promised way back in this post a giveaway is imminent so keep your eyes peeled for all will be revealed very soon.

I hope you're all having lovely Friday nights and that the snow isn't messing up your plans, I can't believe we've just had some more. I'm off to catch up with Coronation Street (rock and roll) and may just have to indulge in a hot chocolate until the boy shows his face.

What would you like to see in the first Cagney & Lace giveaway?

  8. What beautiful pictures! I love how the trees look when it's snowed, especially when you're walking down a lane or driving down a road that's surrounded by trees that are heavily filled with the stuff.
